About me

Let's begin with introducing myself: My name is Jeffrey Sapulette. Born and raised in Enschede, The Netherlands. I'm a 23 year old male student at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede where I study Art and Technology.

Creativity is what's been running through my veins ever since I was a little kid. Even at elementary school I was always creating and decorating paperwork. Making doodles in my notebooks and sketching at the back of tests. I also remember as a kid I'd loved to make small comics or pencil drawn magazines which I handed out in class. In the early days of High School, when that new thing called the Internet started to emerge, I always felt like I wanted to be part of it. I started exploring how to make digital pictures, designs and animations and found myself enthusiastic with the thought that I could make something for the rest of the world to enjoy. At that time I learned about easy and foolproof methods of making websites like Geocities and Microsoft Frontpage and some shareware programs as Paint Shop pro and Cool Edit Pro. It was something I enjoyed at the time for myself as a hobby. When I finished High School I found out about Art and Technology at the Saxion University.

Art and Technology is a wide education. Where you take classes and courses in a bunch of different subjects. Some of the things that came by during the first years of Art & Technology are: Interaction Design, Concept Design, Video, Audio, Web design, 3D, Animation and the list goes on. These courses weren't that in depth lesson but to let you learn some basics and most important, you get a little sample of all kinds of different things. This way you kinda get to know what you like best.

Like everybody, I have my favorite subjects and less favorite subject. My interest mostly goes out to, let's put this bluntly, making images. Graphical stuff like design and illustration. I love working on graphics. I think it's my greatest asset and I am always eager to learn new things, expand my skills and improve them. I also have a good interest in Animation and 3D. A lot of experience in those areas is something I don't have yet but I really want to learn.

You are probably asking yourself: "What's up with all the Mosredna stuff? Is it Russian or something?". Well, no. It's not Russian, at least, not that I know of. Mosredna is a Dutch word for "reversed", in reverse. "What?". Let me be more specific; In the Dutch language "andersom" means something like Vice Versa or the other way around. Flip that word, or read it backwards and it spells "mosredna".

I already know what you are thinking: "Alright, now I know what it means, but why did you choose this domain name to begin with?". Well, I wanted my website to have a creative name that people wouldn't forget that easily. To me the name has more meaning than just some weird pun or Dutch wordplay. For me the name stands for doing this differently while being obvious, thinking outside of the box and for creative and playful thinking. It's close to my philosofy when creating, designing and developing.

You might be wondering about the creation of this website. When I started making this website I had little PHP skills and have never even worked with databases. So I have started from scratch. Everything on this website is completely self made. I've typed each and every single piece of code myself. No Wordpress or Blogspot powered things over here. The graphics, animations and the small things like the buttons ar also all done by myself. So don't go stealing it now!
